Each year the newspaper I work for, the Pioneer Press, sponsors a Peeps diorama contest that subjects a popular Easter confection to ridicule. Reporter Jim Ragsdale and I aren't comfortable with this annual mockery and, as journalists, feel it's our responsibility to tell a more complete story.

Over the years the popular contest has honored humiliating dioramas depicting Peeps as strippers, murderers, victims of gruesome beheadings and even as cannibals. In this series of videos we plan to expose this abuse, speak to established peep experts and gain a deeper appreciation for these harmless creatures. (ha!)
